Foundation

The Okefenoke Rural Electric Membership Corporation Foundation has been established as a nonprofit, charitable organization.

The Foundation serves as a community development initiative supporting education, community health and economic development. Funding for the Foundation currently comes from unclaimed capital credits and other donations that may be received.

A nine-member Foundation Board of Trustees—one member representing each of OREMC’s districts—will review applications and award grants on a quarterly basis.
