Get ready for the 2026 Annual Meeting! BBQ and bluegrass will be featured at the 2026 OREMC Annual Meeting to be held on Saturday, September 12, at the Brantley County High School, Highway 82 West, Nahunta. Headin’ Home is a band of six family members from coastal Georgia will be the headline entertainment from 8:30 - 10 a.m. The family began touring as a bluegrass band in 2018, with the name Headin’ Home to reflect their faith-based values and their focus on sharing songs with an uplifting, positive message.

• Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will be drive-thru with access through the Middle School gate.
• Please bring the preprinted registration card you will receive with your official annual meeting notification letter to register and receive your attendance gift. Notices will be mailed out in early August.
• Attendance gifts will be presented to members at registration. Please note: Just as there is only one vote per member regardless of how many accounts are in your name, there will also only be one attendance gift per member. As the name suggests, it is a thank you gift presented to those members who choose to attend the Annual Meeting. 
• Additionally, the first 500 members registered will receive a ticket that can be redeemed for a BBQ plate prepared by Brantley County FFA. Plates can be picked up behind the Middle School after 10:45 a.m. Additional plates are available for purchase presale by August 31 at $10 each. Order and pay for your extra BBQ plates.
• Musical entertainment and information tables and kids touch a truck photo opportunity will also be available from 8:30-10 a.m..
• The official business meeting will start at 10 a.m.

During the business meeting, members will hear reports from OREMC's Board President and General Manager. Elections will be finalized for three members of OREMC's Board of Directors to serve for three-year terms.

Raffle prizes, superlative prizes and a grand prize will be awarded to those in attendance at the conclusion of the business meeting―you must be present to win.
