Power Cost Adjustment Goes Into Effect September 1
Effective with September 1 bills, a power cost adjustment of $.017022 per kWh will go into effect. Based on 1,000 kWh per month, for example, your OREMC monthly bill will increase by $17. 02. This is in addition to the $.00781 power cost adjustment that was effective July 1.
We understand this is not welcome news. When the first power cost adjustment was instituted, the hope was that rising natural gas prices would level off. Instead, they have increased 38%.
