Bidding for OREMC’s Online Vehicle Auction Opens February 16
Working with JJ Kane Auctioneers, Okefenoke REMC is auctioning off retired fleet vehicles including two bucket trucks, two digger derrick trucks and two trenchers. The auction will take place online and bidding begins on Wednesday, February 16. Interested bidders can view vehicles and place bids at www.jjkane.com/promotions/okefenoke-rural-electric-membership-cooperative/.
Each vehicle has an individual listing with detailed description and multiple photos. To register and place bids, bidders will need to click the “View Details” button on the listing, which will take them to another page with a “Place Bid” button. At that point new bidders will be prompted to register and create an account with the online bidding provider. The highest bid on each item, along with the time remaining to place a bid, will be visible until the auction closes on February 22.
All auction items are located at OREMC’s Nahunta office and winning bidders will be expected to pick up vehicles from there, or arrange for transport. Questions about OREMC’s online vehicle auction should be directed to Pete Klimek, account manager at JJ Kane Auctioneers. He can be reached at 843-323-6538.
