The purpose of my testimony is to discuss the new Public Utility Regulatory 17 Policy Act (PURPA) Standards on Integrated Resource Planning (Section 18 111(d)(16)), Rate Design Modifications (Section 111(d)(17)), Smart Grid 19 Investment (Section 111(d)(18)), and Smart Grid Information (Section 20 111(d)(19)), as amended by the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 21 (EISA) and how each of these new PURPA Standards affects OREMC.
