The POWER of PrePay


The website www.myusage.com provides summarized and detailed account information concerning usage and transactions on your account.
The SUMMARY PAGE displays when you log in and shows your available balance, last payment amount and date, yesterday’s kWh usage and charges, and average daily charge for the last 30 days.   Daily energy charge and average daily temperature for the last 30 days are displayed on a graph.  Recent alerts about your account are shown including the alert type and notification method used.


HISTORY Tab – To view Transactions, Usage, Meter Readings and History

The HISTORY tab provides access to detailed transaction, usage and alert histories.

HISTORY TAB – TRANSACTION HISTORY Subtab--The transaction history page displays high and low temperature, kWh usage, charges, payments and the account balance for each day.   Clicking on the ‘Date’ link will provided a detailed list of all transactions that occurred on that date.  The transaction history page displays data for the last 30 days as a default.  To see information for a previous time period, select the date range desired in the TIME PERIOD section and click LOAD.  The graph at the bottom of the page can display the balance, Usage charge, or kWh based on the selection chosen in the dropdown box for the last 30 days. 

HISTORY TAB – USAGE HISTORY Subtab--The Usage history page displays, daily temperature ranges, kWh usage and meter readings.  The ‘TYPE’ field indicates that the read is an actual reading (‘VALID’) or that the reading was ‘ESTIMATED’.  Estimated readings occur occasionally due to communication or equipment issues that prevent our meter reading system from communicating with your meter.  If your kWh usage is estimated, your actual consumption will true up when we get the next valid meter reading.  This page displays data for the last 30 days as a default.  To see information for a previous time period, select the date range desired in the TIME PERIOD section and click LOAD.  The graph at the bottom of the page displays the kWh and average temperature for the last 30 days.


PAYMENT Tab – To Make a Payment or View a List of Previous Payments

The payment tab enables you to view payment history and a link to make a payment.

PAYMENT TAB – PAYMENT HISTORY Subtab--The payment history subtab enables you to view a list of payment amounts and dates that have been credited to your account.

PAYMENT TAB – MAKE A PAYMENT Subtab--To make a payment through OREMC’s Online Bill Payment Website, click the make a payment tab.  This will open the website www.oremcsecure.net.  Use your account number and password to login.  Place your mouse over ‘Payments’ and click ‘Make a Payment’.   You will be redirected to our secure, third party processor, Southeastern Data.  All payments made through this website are instantly credited to your account at OREMC.

VERY IMPORTANT! The account balance displayed on OREMC’s Bill Payment Website is not the same as your available balance shown on myusage.com.  (The balance shown on the bill payment website is based on traditional utility billing and does not include all charges through today’s date.)  The decision as to how much you pay should be based on available balance and usage information provided on www.myusage.comYour available balance may also be obtained by calling our automated PrePay account information line at 1-877-707-7017.

Payments made by credit card are charged a convenience fee of 2.45% of the transaction amount.   E-Check payments are charged a fee of $.60 per transaction.  You may choose to save your payment information (credit card and bank account) to your account profile.  If you do not save the information, you will be prompted to enter it each time you make a payment.

SETTINGS Tab – To View or Change Contact or Log In Information

The settings tab allows you to manage the alerts (notifications) and login/password information.

SETTINGS Tab – MANAGE ALERTS Subtab--The MANAGE ALERTS Subtab allows you to add, update and delete account alerts.  Myusage.com is able to provide you alerts or notifications of certain events on your account by several methods of communication.  Types of notifications include low balance warning, pending disconnection warning and daily balance information. 
To change the low balance threshold and contact information including telephone numbers, text message phone number and email addresses, click the “Change Setting” link at the bottom of the “Alert Settings” Section.  Make the necessary changes and click “Update”. 
The alerts currently set up on your account are listed under ‘Active Alerts’.  To change the delivery time of one of these alerts, click edit.  Make the change desired and click ‘Update’.  If you no longer wish to receive a particular alert type by a particular contact method, locate this alert and method in the list of active alerts and click ‘Delete’.
We suggest that you maintain a Low Balance Alert and Pending Disconnection Alert at a minimum.  If you have an email address, we recommend that you also receive your Daily Balance by Email.  If you do not have internet access, you may contact customer service to assist you with updating your contact information.

SETTINGS Tab – MANAGE LOGINS Subtab--The MANAGE LOGINS Subtab allows you to add or delete user login names.  This tab also allows you to change the password for each login name.
